To help English speakers develop the ability to understand the writings of Reverend Sun Myung Moon in the original Korean language.
By presenting short passages from the collected works of the Rev. Moon in Hangul, identifying the words, Chinese characters and grammatical elements in the passage and referring the student to the appropriate sections in dictionaries and grammar books. There are recordings of the texts narrated by a native Korean speaker to help pronunciation and videos that break down and analyze the translation process for harder passages.
Linguistic training wheels. Just as training wheels help wobbly cyclists learn balance, so students of Korean can learn where and how to look up new grammar and vocabulary, given the links provided by this site. Once these skills are mastered students can pursue their studies on their own.
